Duane,

The mountain of evidence is right there. They COULD go back and study the steel in the area of the impact zone, but it would be a public relations disaster. Whoever planted the charges must surely have known that it would leave a trail of evidence, if one wishes to investigate.

I just think the middle east is boiling over with hatred and bigotry, and we need to step in and fix it. We've been coexisting with our peaceful neighbors over here for a long time, so what is it we have and they don't have? Democracy? Perhaps oil corrupts everything it touches.

Also, a true, deeply engrained democracy is incapable of fascism, I will postulate. You give me a scenario where the president of the U.S. tries to go beyond his constitutional authority and I'll tell you how it plays out. You can't get away with anything in the government these days, you can hardly do anything that would be good and constructive, like privatizing social security, let alone something that is meant to kill thousands and start a war.

TD,

Perhaps I could counter your points. I could respond by mentioning the hierarchal and compartmentalized structures within various government agencies that allow governments (and other organizations) to be stupid and smart at the same time. The bank tellers don't know the bank's investment strategy. Or I could tell you about the many incidents of government officials warning about the event before it happened. Or I could ask you to think of examples of areas where the government is being very intelligent. etc.

Hmm. Somehow I predict that won't convince you much.

"It's all a big conspiracy" (said sarcastically)

This is the most common response I hear (not that you said that). Disbelief. It can't be.

The question is, is your stance:

It can't be as far as I'm concerned.

or

I don't believe it but I'm willing to take a look at the evidence presented fairly.

The evidence is here. Duane pointed out a few resources. Make your own conclusions, but do take a look...

Scratch the first part of my previous comment. I was not thinking straight, for some reason I was thinking impeach was the actual process of removing them from office, when in fact it's just to charge of improper conduct or make an accusation against.

Sorry about that, but my last part still holds true. I do not believe our government is that intelligent. You think we would see signs of this intelligence in everything else they do, no?

Jay, I can discredit one of your so called expert witnesses easily -- . "* David Shippers, the top lawyer that got Clinton impeached." Clinton was never impeached, so this part would be untrue.

As they say if one part is untrue there is a chance that a larger part is untrue. Therefore I am unable to view your list of people as "experts".

Everyone has an agenda, it's easy to come out "after" the fact and claim that all this is false. But who in their RIGHT mind would sit in the government while this is being planned and allow it to happen? Then afterward claim it was a conspiracy? I'm sorry but that makes you just as liable as the person who order the attacks. If you knew about a conspiracy before it happened and did nothing then you are liable, period.

I do not believe any of this, because to have a conspiracy go off without a hitch at this level would require highly intelligent people with the same goal and same mindset, they all would have to get along to a point of genuine friendship (dems and reps working together? Come on now that's a fantasy). I think you are giving our government officials WAY too much credit.

Also being a somewhat funny fact, on one hand they are saying that Bush and the government created this awesome "SHOCK AND AWE" conspiracy which requires Genuises to pull off and yet in the same breath turn around and say that Bush is stupid and incompetent. I'm sorry but you can't have it both ways. Either he's a friggin Genuis that pulled off the biggest conspiracy the world has ever known or he's just your average redneck Texan.

Choose one and stick with it.

I'm curious what progress you have made on your "line in the sand"? Often people give up after the first week of this new knowledge; please don't be one of them.

Once you realize the lies you have been told, you start to say to yourself: "Ok, who do I fight"? This is the first reaction, and after a year or so you will realize their is no *one* to fight, but rather a *system*.

My personal "line in the sand" is to take the time needed to look below the headlines:

- What is the point of the Federal Reserve?
- Why are NYSE companies exempt from money laundering laws?
- Why are US citizens having their civil liberties stripped away?

"So, let me get this straight. etc."

I remember when I had this reaction. But then I set out to prove the 'conspiracy theorists' wrong, I went through the videos, the articles, the claims, the seismic records. To my shock, there is a mountain of evidence that shows the real conspiracy theory to be the one spun by the government.

Instead of avoiding the issues and telling Duane he's lost it, why not actually address some issues? Such as..

The insider trading (record put options) on American Airlines and where they lead back to.

Building 7.

Squibs (demolition charges) in videos.

Who was in charge of security of Buiding 7 and when did his contract end?

Never before have such buildings collapsed from fire (remember no plane hit building 7)

Speed of collapse.

Air force stand down.

Pentagon video.

Silverstein's statement

Many firefighter tapes speaking about bombs

Mainstream news footage showing camera shake, people say "what was that", then you see the building collapse.

William Rodriguez (sp?) and the 20-30 eyewitnesses that survived and were in the buildings, claim they heard explosions in basement. See related lawsuit.

Demolition experts that have made statements that it was a clear demolition.

Executive of company that underwrote WTCs saying there's no way planes brought those bulidings down.

Bush hangs around at school during all this.

Short clip before collapse, Fireman says bomb in building.

I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.

Dude, you've completely lost it... Stop smoking pot and stop reading / watching these crazy conspiracies. I know you're not stupid because of your other writings. You can't possibly believe any of these theories it's just plain insane. I mean you might as well believe in little gray men and guys in black suits did it!

This is the third time I wrote a response only to delete it before submission....

> You are telling me that the US goverment, disjointed as it is could somehow come together to coordinate something of this scale? I don’t buy it.

No. All these guys are:

* Von Buelow, the former German Defense Minister and Minister of Technology.

* Col. Donn de Grand-Pre, U.S. Army (ret.)

* Michael Springmann (worked for US gov for 20 years with foreign service and consulate)

* Stanley Hilton (suing US gov, Hilton deposed many top military officials who say the government was complicit)

* Michael Meacher, former UK Government minister

* FBI Special Agent Robert Wright

* David Shippers, the top lawyer that got Clinton impeached.

* Sibel Edmons, former FBI Translator, was (still is?) under gag order.

* Mary Schiavo, "attorney representing September 11 families against American and United Airlines, reminds us that simultaneous multiple-airplane hijackings were nothing new on September 11."

* David MacMichael, CIA Analyist (accuses officials into blocking investigations and prior knowledge)

* Randy Glass

For further information: Google. Most of these people have had public interviews on the matter.

There are many many more top government officials that have spoken out. Not to mention the many publications including the oldest and most respected firefighters journal. The list just goes on and on.
