Rails Plugins Directory at AgileWebDevelopment

Benjamin Curtis has been seeding his Rails Plugins Directory project by taking announcements on the Rails list and documenting them on his website. He added tags a while back, and the list of plugins is now very impressive!

Take a look yourself and see if you like it.

FYI: C-SPAN to Broadcast 9/11 Panel Discussion

C-SPAN will be broadcasting a panel discussion called “September 11th Terrorist Attacks” today (Saturday, July 29th) at 8:00 PM EDT. The panel was held on June 25th at the American Scholars Symposium in LA.

This will be an excellent opportunity to hear “from the horse’s mouth” what several scholars, politicians and veteran armed forces leaders are saying about the physical and circumstantial evidence implicating part of the US government in the attacks–that there was foreknowledge, that there was complicity, and that there was a large-scale cover-up. See for yourself.

The C-SPAN schedule can be viewed here. If you would like to view the panel discussion online, it can be viewed at C-SPAN’s live stream by visiting the home page (live stream links at bottom) or by watching the discussion on google video.

  • Two Months Later

It’s been almost two months since my last post, and that makes it about time I wrote again. I’ve been silent on this blog primarily for three reasons:

    1. My recent work has required that I develop in PHP. As of this week, I’m back on the Ruby on Rails track.
    2. My brother passed away in June, leaving this world unexpectedly. It’s been a difficult time for me and my family.
    3. My world view has changed significantly as a result of my findings in May, and it has taken some time to process the implications.

I will post about each of these items separately.
