Two Months Later

It’s been almost two months since my last post, and that makes it about time I wrote again. I’ve been silent on this blog primarily for three reasons:
- My recent work has required that I develop in PHP. As of this week, I’m back on the Ruby on Rails track.
- My brother passed away in June, leaving this world unexpectedly. It’s been a difficult time for me and my family.
- My world view has changed significantly as a result of my findings in May, and it has taken some time to process the implications.
I will post about each of these items separately.

Hey Duane, I was wondering what happened to you. I’m so sorry to hear about your brother. I hope you and your family are taking care of each other. I also hope you’re able to process that information about the 9/11 “inside job” conspiracy and get through it. I’m a big skeptic about that sort of thing, but I do believe there are people who would do it if they could, so maybe your reaction is justified either way. At any rate, it’s good to see a post from you again. My life has been intruding in my blogging too, so I know how difficult it can be to find time to do justice to what you want to say.
Hi Josh,
It’s good to hear from you too! I was just on your site (hasmanythrough) yesterday, grateful to have a ‘refresher course’ like what you’ve written on associations. Much appreciated.
I don’t talk much, but I thought I would pop in offer my condolences and support.
I hope this stranger doesn’t sound trite, but please accept my sincere condolences. Moving on from great loss is difficult.
I appreciate your telling us what’s going on.
And, welcome back to Rails.
Hey Duance, I only just found out about your brother via your blog. My sincere condolences, and I wish you and yours all the strength to get trough this difficult time.
