American Creek Resources Way Up?

I just received word that the small-cap gold and silver mine that I mentioned previously spiked today. Word is that trading for this stock was halted on the Toronto Stock Exchange, due to the 4-fold overnight increase. This seems to be confirmed by the fact that I can’t seem to get a reading on it today.

The source of this information said the price per share spiked to $5. We’ll see what news tomorrow brings.

I own 5000 shares of amk and it has done nothing but drop since i bought it.The quote states it is still at 24 cents a share.Where did you hear it spiked to 5 dollars recently?

This post is from Jan of 2007, not 2008. The spike turned out to be a $2 increase, so it didn’t go to $5 as my source had suggested.

I’m disappointed in the price of AMK as well; however, I still have faith in the comany properties. We’ll see if something more comes of it this year
