You were responsible for the opening of my eyes (I am a Mechanical Engineer with a few structural engineering courses under my belt) and the WTC7 clinched it for me. Also I fact checked a lot of stuff like the double indemnity insurance etc however I could not find anything about the power being shut off the weekend before as Scott Forbes claimed...then it suddenly hit me - my wife was in NY that week end (9/9) and went to the WTC to go up to the observation deck and found that it was closed! She said that there was yellow tape across the entrance and the guard on duty said they were closed for maintenance. Some of them are quick to blame someone else for their own disilusionment. It's never their own inadequacy that did them in before their time. It's "them" that are to blame. I have no axe to grind, nor am I selling anything, or passing the hat The small cabal of deluded individuals who believe the Bush Administration is more than a rag tag bunch of dumb ass political hacks all need to believe in an overpowering political force that controls everything. Or, they're just full of crap. 9/11 happened because a fundamentalist muslim group with hatred for the culture of the West and disposable oil income put together a clever plan. Among their number were university grad students and trained engineers. They weren't a dumb bunch of "towel heads," unless one considers the small bunches of radicals causing so much mayhem in Iraq and Afghanistan, "towel heads."
